The Biologist assigned to execute the services described in this Quotation Estimate meets the following professional criteria: a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or a related life science discipline from a university accredited by the Colombian Ministry of Education; active professional registration with the Consejo Profesional de Biología; specialized training in tropical and subtropical ecosystem assessment; proficiency in Colombian environmental legislation (Ley 99 de 1993, Decreto 1076 de 2015, and applicable CVA resolutions); and demonstrated experience in at least five (5) prior biological assessment projects within the Colombia Medellín metropolitan area or the broader Antioquia Department.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Biologist service rates may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Colombia Medellín.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon delivery of the mid-project biological report, and 20% upon final acceptance of all deliverables by the client.
- All fieldwork and laboratory activities will be conducted in strict compliance with Colombian environmental regulations, CVA permits, and the ethical guidelines of the Colombian Society of Biology (Sociedad Colombiana de Biología).
- The Biologist shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of COP 500,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in Colombia Medellín.
