This Quotation Estimate is issued by MESCC to provide comprehensive professional services rendered by a qualified Biologist for environmental, ecological, and biological assessment projects within the metropolitan and coastal regions of Pakistan Karachi. The scope encompasses the following deliverables:
- Marine & Coastal Biodiversity Survey: The Biologist will conduct a full ecological survey of the Karachi coastline, including intertidal zone sampling, benthic community assessment, and identification of endemic and invasive species along the 130-kilometre shoreline of Pakistan Karachi.
- Water Quality Biological Monitoring: Utilising bioindicator organisms (macroinvertebrates, diatoms, and benthic algae), the Biologist will assess the trophic status and pollution levels of the Karachi Harbour, Korangi Creek, and the Indus River delta outflow.
- Avian & Faunal Census: A seasonal bird and wildlife census covering the Karachi coastal wetlands, including the area near the Karachi Port Trust grounds and the coastal mangrove patches in the northern district.
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Biological Component: The Biologist will prepare the biological chapter of the EIA report in compliance with SEPA (Sindh) regulations, including baseline data, impact prediction matrices, and mitigation recommendations.
- Consultation & Advisory Services: On-site and remote advisory sessions with the client's project team regarding ecological compliance, species protection under Pakistan's Wildlife Protection Act, and sustainable development planning specific to the Pakistan Karachi region.
- Report Writing & Presentation: A final 80–120 page technical report in English, including photographic evidence, GIS-mapped sampling stations, statistical analyses, and a 45-minute presentation to the client and relevant regulatory authorities in Pakistan Karachi.

- This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding proposal until formally accepted in writing by the client.
- Payment Terms: 40% advance upon acceptance, 35% upon completion of fieldwork, and 25% upon delivery of the final report.
- The Biologist shall adhere to all applicable laws of Pakistan, including the Sindh Environmental Protection Act, the Wildlife Protection Act, and Karachi Municipal Corporation regulations.
- All data, reports, and intellectual property generated under this engagement shall remain the property of the client upon full payment.
- The Biologist reserves the right to withdraw from this Quotation Estimate if the project site in Pakistan Karachi presents safety hazards not disclosed by the client.
- Force majeure events (including but not limited to monsoon flooding in the Karachi region, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies) shall extend the project timeline proportionally without penalty to either party.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.
