1. Introduction and Purpose of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Cape BioSciences Consulting (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request for professional Biologist services required for the biodiversity assessment component of the proposed coastal infrastructure development project situated within the Table Mountain National Park Buffer Zone in South Africa Cape Town. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for all biological fieldwork, laboratory analysis, species identification, habitat mapping, and reporting services that our qualified Biologist team will deliver in accordance with the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act (NEMA: Biodiversity Act, 2004) and the Western Cape Provincial Environmental Management Framework.
All pricing contained within this Quotation Estimate is quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. 3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations, travel cost changes, or availability of the Biologist team.
- Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon submission of the draft Biodiversity Impact Assessment Report, and 20% upon final acceptance and delivery of all deliverables in South Africa Cape Town.
- All Biologist fieldwork will be conducted in strict compliance with the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act (Act 10 of 2004), the Western Cape Provincial Environmental Management Framework, and all applicable municipal by-laws of the City of Cape Town.
- Access to the study site in Cape Town, South Africa, must be arranged and confirmed by the client no fewer than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled commencement of fieldwork. Failure to provide timely access may result in schedule delays and additional costs not covered by this Quotation Estimate.
- The Biologist team will carry full professional indemnity insurance (minimum R 5,000,000) and public liability insurance for the duration of all on-site activities in South Africa Cape Town.
- All data, reports, and intellectual property generated under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full and final payment. Cape BioSciences Consulting (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
- Any variation in scope beyond the services itemised in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost quotation approved by both parties.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
4. Acceptance and Authorisation
