This Quotation Estimate is issued by Thames Valley Biological Consultancy Ltd. in response to the formal request for professional Biologist services submitted by Meridian Development Group PLC. The scope of work described herein pertains to ecological and biological impact assessments required for the proposed mixed-use development at 18 Finsbury Square, located in the City of London, United Kingdom London. This document sets out the full range of deliverables, associated costs, timelines, and contractual terms governing the engagement of our qualified Biologist team.

Our Biologist team, comprising a Chartered Biologist (C. Biol.) and two accredited ecological surveyors, will deliver the following services across the United Kingdom London site:

This Quotation Estimate is based on the following assumptions: (a) full and safe access to the United Kingdom London site will be provided by the client at all times; (b) no previously unidentified Schedule 1 or European Protected Species will be discovered that would necessitate additional statutory licences from Natural England; (c) the site boundary as defined in the planning application remains unchanged; and (d) all work will be conducted in accordance with current UK environmental legislation, including the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017, and the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017. Any scope changes arising from unforeseen ecological findings will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued by our Biologist team within five working days.

Payment shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 25% upon completion of Phase 1 and Phase 2 surveys; 25% upon submission of the EcIA and BAP; and the remaining 20% upon delivery of the final aftercare monitoring report. All invoices are payable within 30 days of the date of issue. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, as applicable in the United Kingdom London jurisdiction.

5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market rates for Biologist services in the United Kingdom London region.

5.2 All work shall be performed by a qualified and insured Biologist or team of Biologists holding professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 per claim.

5.3 The lead Biologist shall hold Chartered status (C. Biol.) with the Institute of Biology and shall be a member in good standing of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

5.4 All reports and deliverables shall be prepared in English and formatted in accordance with the City of London Council's planning submission guidelines for the United Kingdom London area.

5.5 This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom London.

5.6 Confidentiality: All data, findings, and reports produced by the Biologist team shall be treated as confidential property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent, except where required by UK law or regulatory authority.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing set out in this Quotation Estimate for Biologist services to be delivered in United Kingdom London. Upon countersignature by both parties, this document shall constitute a binding agreement for the provision of the services described herein.
