This Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Coast Biological Consulting Group, LLC, a licensed and insured biological consulting firm headquartered in the United States Los Angeles metropolitan area. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemized cost projection for the professional services of a qualified Biologist engaged to conduct a full ecological and habitat assessment along the San Gabriel River Corridor in Los Angeles County. All pricing, deliverables, and timelines outlined in this Quotation Estimate are specific to the project scope described herein and are valid only for the period stated above.

The Biologist assigned to this engagement will hold a minimum of a Master of Science degree in Ecology or Wildlife Biology, possess a California Class 1 Professional Biological License, and have no fewer than eight (8) years of field experience conducting habitat surveys in the United States Los Angeles region. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: a non-refundable mobilization deposit of twenty-five percent (25%) due upon execution of the contract; a progress payment of forty percent (40%) due upon completion of all fieldwork; and a final payment of thirty-five percent (35%) due within thirty (30) days of delivery of the final Biological Assessment Report. All invoices are payable in United States dollars (USD) via wire transfer or certified check to Pacific Coast Biological Consulting Group, LLC, Los Angeles, California. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month or the maximum rate permitted under California law, whichever is less.

This Quotation Estimate is a good-faith projection of costs and is not a binding contract until a formal Statement of Work (SOW) is executed by both parties.
The Biologist and all field personnel shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations in the United States Los Angeles jurisdiction, including but not limited to OSHA safety standards, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements, and United States Fish and Wildlife Service permits.
All data, reports, and deliverables produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. The Biologist retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios and publications with prior written consent.
Any change in scope, additional fieldwork days, or extended agency review periods beyond those specified in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a written change order and additional charges at the hourly rates listed in Section 2.
This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, pricing and availability of the assigned Biologist are subject to reconfirmation.
Pacific Coast Biological Consulting Group, LLC carries general liability insurance of $2,000,000 per occurrence and professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance of $1,000,000 per claim, with certificates available upon request.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of a qualified Biologist for ecological assessment services in the United States Los Angeles area. This signature constitutes authorization to proceed with the project upon issuance of the formal Statement of Work.
