This Quotation Estimate is prepared in response to the formal request for professional services from a qualified Biologist to conduct comprehensive ecological assessments, biodiversity surveys, and environmental impact evaluations within the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The Biologist will be engaged on a project basis to deliver specialized scientific expertise in terrestrial, aquatic, and coastal ecosystem analysis. All fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and reporting will be conducted in accordance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines and applicable federal regulations administered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The Biologist will hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Biology, Ecology, or a closely related life science discipline, with a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in environmental consulting within the United States. The Biologist must be familiar with the unique ecological conditions of San Francisco, including the diverse habitats found in the Marin Headlands, the San Francisco Bay wetlands, the coastal bluffs of the Pacific Ocean shoreline, and the urban green corridors throughout the city.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. After the expiration date, all rates and availability of the Biologist are subject to re-evaluation.
- Payment terms: 40% upon execution of the service agreement, 40% upon completion of fieldwork, and 20% upon delivery of the final technical report. All payments are due in United States Dollars (USD) via wire transfer to the consulting firm's account in San Francisco, California.
- The Biologist shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations of the United States, including but not limited to the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, and California Fish and Game Code provisions specific to San Francisco County.
- All data collected, samples obtained, and reports generated by the Biologist shall become the exclusive property of the Client upon full payment. The Biologist retains the right to publish anonymized findings in peer-reviewed journals with prior written consent from the Client.
- Any scope changes, additional fieldwork, or extended timelines beyond the parameters outlined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a written change order and additional charges at the rates specified herein.
- The Biologist is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the Client. The Biologist is responsible for all applicable federal and state income taxes, Social Security contributions, and professional liability insurance in the United States.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Service Agreement must be executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any work.
This Quotation Estimate assumes standard weather conditions permitting fieldwork in San Francisco. Delays caused by adverse weather events, including but not limited to heavy fog, high winds, or seismic activity, will be addressed through mutual agreement. The estimate excludes any remediation work, legal representation, or engineering services. The Biologist's role is strictly limited to scientific assessment, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
By signing below, the Client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and cost structure outlined herein for the engagement of the Biologist in the United States San Francisco region.
