The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the premises of the client facility located in Bangladesh Dhaka:
- Preventive maintenance, inspection, and calibration of all diagnostic imaging equipment including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI systems, and ultrasound devices.
- Biomedical safety testing and electrical safety verification of patient-connected equipment in compliance with IEC 60601-1 standards and the Bangladesh Medical Device Regulatory Authority (BMDRA) guidelines.
- Installation, commissioning, and post-installation verification of newly procured biomedical instruments and hospital information system (HIS) hardware interfaces.
- Development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking equipment lifecycle, service history, and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Training of hospital technical staff on safe operation, basic troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance of biomedical devices.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly technical reports for submission to the client's administration and relevant regulatory bodies in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Advisory support for capital equipment procurement, including technical specification drafting, vendor evaluation, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Emergency breakdown response within a guaranteed 4-hour window for critical life-support equipment (ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and patient monitors).

4.1 – A 30% advance payment (BDT 1,147,125) shall be due within 7 working days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
4.2 – The remaining 70% shall be paid in 11 equal monthly installments of BDT 267,663, due on the 5th of each subsequent month.
4.3 – All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of MediTech Solutions Ltd., Sonali Bank, Banani Branch, Bangladesh Dhaka. Account No: 0012-3456-7890.
4.4 – Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, in accordance with standard commercial practice in Bangladesh Dhaka.
5.1 – This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in market conditions, exchange rates, or regulatory fees in Bangladesh Dhaka.
5.2 – The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institution and possess at least 5 years of relevant clinical engineering experience. A copy of the CV and professional credentials shall be provided prior to commencement.
5.3 – The client shall provide a dedicated workspace, access to all equipment rooms, and necessary safety gear for the Biomedical Engineer to perform duties safely.
5.4 – Any additional services beyond the scope defined in Section 2 shall be subject to a separate written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties.
5.5 – This engagement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Bangladesh Dhaka in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2001.
5.6 – MediTech Solutions Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of BDT 10,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
