3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Biomedical Engineer service rates and availability may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Brazil Rio de Janeiro.
3.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account of RioMed Engineering Solutions Ltda. A 30% advance payment is required upon contract signing, with the remaining 70% payable in two equal monthly installments. Invoices will be issued in accordance with Brazilian tax regulations (NF-e – Nota Fiscal Eletrônica).
3.3 Service Delivery: The Biomedical Engineer shall perform all on-site activities at the client's premises in Brazil Rio de Janeiro during standard business hours (08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday), unless emergency corrective maintenance requires after-hours intervention, in which case a 50% surcharge applies.
3.4 Regulatory Compliance: The Biomedical Engineer guarantees full compliance with ANVISA RDC No. 183/2020, RDC No. 751/2022, and all applicable municipal and state regulations governing medical equipment management in Brazil Rio de Janeiro. All technical reports and maintenance logs will be delivered in Portuguese and English.
3.5 Confidentiality: The Biomedical Engineer and RioMed Engineering Solutions Ltda. shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient data, proprietary equipment configurations, and operational information encountered during service delivery in Brazil Rio de Janeiro, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD – Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13.709/2018).
3.6 Cancellation and Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a minimum of fifteen (15) business days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the date of termination as detailed in this Quotation Estimate.
3.7 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent service contract shall be resolved through the competent courts of Brazil Rio de Janeiro, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in accordance with the Brazilian Civil Code.
