The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this project will hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited German or internationally recognized university. The candidate will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Class IIa and Class IIb medical devices as classified under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745). The engineer will be fluent in German and English, with demonstrated familiarity with the regulatory landscape specific to Germany Berlin and the broader German healthcare infrastructure. Additional certifications in ISO 13485 (Quality Management Systems for Medical Devices) and IEC 62304 (Medical Device Software) are required. The Biomedical Engineer will operate under the direct supervision of the client's departmental leadership while maintaining full professional autonomy in technical decision-making.
5. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All prices are quoted in Euro (EUR) and are subject to the standard German value-added tax (Mehrwertsteuer) of 19%, as indicated in the cost breakdown above.
- Payment terms: 50% advance payment upon contract signature; 50% upon successful completion and acceptance of all deliverables. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt via bank transfer to the account of MedTech Solutions GmbH, IBAN: DE89 3704 0044 0532 0130 00, BIC: COBADEFFXXX.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all applicable data protection regulations, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), particularly when handling patient-related data within the facilities in Germany Berlin.
- Any scope changes, additional services, or extensions beyond the parameters outlined in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment.
- Confidentiality: All technical documentation, proprietary designs, and institutional data encountered during the engagement in Germany Berlin shall remain the exclusive property of the client. The Biomedical Engineer and MedTech Solutions GmbH agree to a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for a period of five (5) years following project completion.
