The Biomedical Engineer proposed under this Quotation Estimate shall be a full-time, on-site professional holding a B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution in India, with a minimum of five (5) years of post-qualification experience in hospital equipment management. The scope of work encompasses the following deliverables:

• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Scheduled monthly and quarterly maintenance of all Class I, II, and III medical devices including patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, ECG machines, defibrillators, autoclaves, and imaging peripherals across all wards and OTs in the Mumbai facility.
• Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Response to equipment breakdowns within a maximum of four (4) working hours during business hours and eight (8) hours for after-hours emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care in India Mumbai.
• Calibration and Quality Assurance: Annual calibration of all critical medical instruments in compliance with NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) standards and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications.
• Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Maintenance of equipment registers, maintenance logs, calibration certificates, and compliance reports as mandated by the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, the Medical Devices and Appliances Rules, 2017, and the Mumbai Municipal Corporation health regulations.
• Installation and Commissioning: Technical oversight for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of newly procured medical equipment, including vendor coordination and acceptance testing.
