3. Terms and Conditions of this Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions, labor costs, and regulatory changes applicable in Italy.
- All services will be performed by a qualified Biomedical Engineer or, where explicitly agreed in writing, by a supervised team of certified technicians under the direct responsibility of the lead engineer.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of the initial assessment and maintenance programme design, and 30% upon successful completion of the first quarterly review. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all data protection requirements under the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018) when handling any patient-related or institutional data encountered during on-site work in Rome.
- Travel and accommodation costs within the Rome metropolitan area (up to 30 km radius) are included in the quoted rates. Travel to sites outside this radius in the Lazio region will be billed at actual cost with prior written approval.
- Any additional services not explicitly listed in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost quotation approved by both parties before commencement.
- This engagement is governed by the Italian Civil Code (Codice Civile) and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy.
- The client acknowledges that the Biomedical Engineer's recommendations regarding equipment replacement, upgrade, or decommissioning are advisory in nature and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of equipment performance beyond the scope of the services rendered.
4. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes MedTech Solutions S.r.l. to proceed with the engagement of the Biomedical Engineer for the services described herein, to be carried out at the client's premises in Italy Rome, under the terms and conditions stated above.
