- Preventive maintenance and scheduled calibration of all diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI systems, and ultrasound devices installed at the client facility in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of life-support systems, ventilators, patient monitors, defibrillators, and infusion pumps to ensure uninterrupted clinical operations.
- Installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of newly procured biomedical devices in accordance with international ISO 13485 and IEC 60601-1 safety standards applicable in Nepal.
- Documentation and record-keeping of all maintenance activities, calibration certificates, and service logs as mandated by the Nepal Kathmandu health regulatory framework.
- Training of hospital technical staff on proper operation, basic troubleshooting, and safety protocols for biomedical equipment.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in market conditions, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements in Nepal.
- Payment shall be made in monthly installments within fifteen (15) days of invoice issuance. A 2% monthly late-payment surcharge will apply to overdue balances as per Nepal commercial law.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall be a registered professional with the Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) and shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline with at least five (5) years of relevant experience in hospital settings.
- All services rendered under this estimate shall comply with the Nepal Medical Device Act, 2075 (2018) and all subsequent amendments issued by the Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu.
- The client shall provide a dedicated workspace, access to all equipment rooms, and necessary safety equipment for the Biomedical Engineer to perform duties effectively at the Kathmandu facility.
- Any additional services beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and mutual agreement prior to execution.
- Confidentiality: All patient data, hospital records, and proprietary information accessed during the engagement shall remain strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written consent.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. In the event of failure, the matter shall be referred to the competent court of law in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of NPR 10,000,000, valid throughout the contract period.
