All work will be conducted in strict accordance with the New Zealand Medical Device Regulations 2023, AS/NZS 3544:2019 (Electrical safety of medical equipment), and the relevant IEC 60601 series of international standards adopted in New Zealand Wellington healthcare facilities.

This Quotation Estimate assumes that all existing equipment is accessible and in a serviceable condition at the time of commencement. Any additional devices discovered during the initial site survey that fall outside the scope described above will be subject to a supplementary quotation. The cost of replacement parts, consumables, or major component repairs not covered under the manufacturer's existing warranty are excluded from this estimate. All travel within the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan area (defined as the Capital & Coast DHB service region) is included. Travel to sites outside this region will be billed at $0.85 per kilometre plus applicable tolls and parking.
Payment and Commercial Terms
- Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of all on-site engineering works; 10% upon final sign-off and delivery of the compliance documentation package.
- All amounts are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST at the current rate of 15%.
- Invoices are payable within 30 days of the date of issue. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Commerce Act 1986.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 90 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to changes in parts availability, labour rates, or regulatory requirements in New Zealand Wellington.
- All work performed by our Biomedical Engineer team will comply with the New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and the Capital & Coast DHB's site-specific safety management plan.
- Intellectual property in all test reports, calibration certificates, and compliance documentation produced under this engagement will vest in the client (Capital & Coast DHB) upon full payment.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 1945 or, where the amount exceeds the Tribunal's jurisdiction, in the District Court of Wellington, New Zealand.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate in full, including all terms, conditions, assumptions, and exclusions set out herein. The engagement of our Biomedical Engineer services will commence within 10 business days of written confirmation and receipt of the initial deposit.
