The Biomedical Engineer proposed under this Quotation Estimate shall possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from a PEC-recognized institution in Pakistan, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in hospital equipment management. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:
- Comprehensive preventive maintenance and scheduled calibration of all Class II and Class III medical devices (ECG machines, ventilators, patient monitors, infusion pumps, dialysis units, and imaging equipment) across all wards and departments.
- Bi-annual safety inspections and electrical safety testing in accordance with IEC 62353 and local Pakistan Karachi health authority protocols.
- Technical troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and on-site repair of malfunctioning biomedical equipment within a guaranteed response time of four (4) working hours.
- Preparation of detailed maintenance logs, calibration certificates, and compliance reports for submission to the Sindh Medical Device Regulatory Authority.
- Training of hospital technical staff on proper operation, basic maintenance, and safety protocols for all biomedical equipment.
- Advisory support for the procurement of new medical devices, including technical specifications, vendor evaluation, and installation supervision.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised to reflect market conditions in Pakistan Karachi.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance, 40% upon completion of the first six (6) months of service, and the remaining 30% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall be bound by a strict confidentiality agreement regarding all patient data, hospital records, and proprietary equipment information encountered during the course of service.
- Any change in scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall require a written amendment signed by both parties before execution.
- MediTech Engineering Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than PKR 50,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), the Sindh Health Department, and the National Regulatory Authority for Medical Devices.
