3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, pricing for Biomedical Engineer services may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in South Africa Johannesburg.
3.2 All services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be performed by a duly registered Biomedical Engineer in good standing with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Proof of registration shall be provided upon request.
3.3 Payment terms: 50% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, with the remaining 50% payable within thirty (30) days of completion of all services. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as per the National Credit Act of South Africa.
3.4 The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this contract shall operate within the South Africa Johannesburg metropolitan area. Travel outside this area shall be quoted separately and is not included in this Quotation Estimate.
3.5 All work performed shall comply with SANS 10142, IEC 62353, and the Medical Devices Act 41 of 2002 (South Africa). The Biomedical Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5,000,000.
3.6 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance shall be confirmed via signed copy of this document or a formal purchase order referencing Quotation No. QTE-2025-JHB-0487.
3.7 MedTech Solutions (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to substitute the assigned Biomedical Engineer with an equally qualified professional, provided prior written notice of no less than five (5) business days is given to the client.
