This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Nile Valley Medical Equipment & Engineering Services Ltd. to Al-Rahma General Hospital, located in the heart of Sudan Khartoum, in response to the hospital's Request for Proposal (RFP Ref. The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be a professionally certified practitioner holding a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution, with no fewer than five (5) years of hands-on experience in hospital equipment maintenance within the Sudanese healthcare sector. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:
- Comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules for all imaging systems (X-ray, CT, ultrasound), laboratory analyzers, patient monitors, ventilators, and surgical equipment installed at the Sudan Khartoum facility.
- Calibration and quality assurance testing in compliance with Sudanese Ministry of Health standards and international ISO 13485 guidelines.
- Emergency breakdown response within four (4) working hours for critical life-support equipment and within twenty-four (24) hours for non-critical devices.
- Monthly technical reports submitted to the hospital's Medical Director detailing equipment status, fault logs, and recommended capital expenditure for replacements.
- Training of hospital nursing and technical staff on safe operation and basic troubleshooting of biomedical devices.
- Procurement liaison for spare parts and consumables sourced from approved international and regional suppliers.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in four (4) quarterly installments, each due within thirty (30) calendar days of the end of the respective quarter. The first installment of 25% shall be due upon contract execution and commencement of the Biomedical Engineer's duties at the Sudan Khartoum facility. Subsequent installments of 25% each shall be due at the end of months three, six, nine, and twelve. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by Nile Valley Medical Equipment & Engineering Services Ltd. at Bank of Khartoum, Main Branch, Sudan Khartoum. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing economic conditions in Sudan Khartoum.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall be subject to the hospital's internal code of conduct, confidentiality agreements, and data protection policies in force at the time of engagement.
- Any additional services, emergency repairs, or equipment upgrades not explicitly listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be billed separately at the hourly rate of SDG 85,000 per hour, subject to prior written approval by the hospital's Procurement Committee.
- The contract term is twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual written agreement. Either party may terminate with sixty (60) days' written notice.
- All work performed by the Biomedical Engineer shall comply with the regulations of the Sudanese Ministry of Health, the National Standards and Metrology Organization (NSMO), and applicable international biomedical engineering standards.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to arbitration under the Sudanese Arbitration Act, with the seat of arbitration in Sudan Khartoum.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and pricing set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Biomedical Engineer at the Sudan Khartoum facility. This document, once countersigned, shall constitute a binding service agreement between the parties.
