The Biomedical Engineer referenced in this Quotation Estimate shall hold a minimum of a BEng (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering from a recognised United Kingdom institution, be a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and possess a valid NHS Induction and mandatory training clearance. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of clinical medical devices including but not limited to patient monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators, ventilators, imaging equipment, and laboratory analyzers deployed across the Birmingham healthcare network.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations, changes in statutory minimum wage, or supplier cost adjustments.
2. Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Invoices will be issued on a monthly basis in arrears. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all applicable United Kingdom legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (as amended), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the UK GDPR.
4. MedTech Solutions UK Ltd reserves the right to substitute the assigned Biomedical Engineer with a suitably qualified alternative of equivalent or higher competence, provided that the replacement is approved in writing by the client's Clinical Engineering department.
5. This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of spare parts, consumables, or third-party manufacturer service contracts unless explicitly stated in a separate purchase order.
6. Any variation to the scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement of the additional work. A supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for any such variation.
7. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom Birmingham region.
8. Confidentiality: All patient data, clinical information, and proprietary hospital systems accessed by the Biomedical Engineer during the course of this engagement are subject to strict confidentiality obligations under NHS confidentiality policies and the UK GDPR.
