1. Scope of Work — Biomedical Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by MedTech Solutions Manchester Ltd. to provide comprehensive Biomedical Engineer consultancy, installation, calibration, and maintenance services for the radiology and diagnostic imaging department at St. Mary's Hospital Trust, located in the greater Manchester area of the United Kingdom. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle management of medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI systems, digital X-ray units, and associated software platforms, in strict compliance with the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/614) and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
Our team of chartered Biomedical Engineer professionals, all registered with the Engineering Council (EngC) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), will be deployed from our Manchester, United Kingdom headquarters to deliver the following services on-site and remotely as specified below.

3. Terms and Conditions of this Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all prices are subject to revision due to potential changes in material costs, labour rates, or regulatory requirements within the United Kingdom.
- All Biomedical Engineer personnel assigned to this project will hold valid professional indemnity insurance (minimum £5,000,000 per claim) and public liability insurance (minimum £10,000,000 per claim), as required for work within NHS and private healthcare facilities in Manchester, United Kingdom.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of installation and commissioning (Items 01–03), and 30% upon successful completion of the 12-month preventive maintenance period (Item 04). Invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of issue in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- All work will be carried out in accordance with the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002, IRR99, the IRR(ME)R 2017, and the relevant British Standards (BS EN 60601 series). The Biomedical Engineer team will ensure full traceability and documentation of all interventions.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of the medical equipment itself (CT scanners, MRI, X-ray units). Equipment procurement is to be arranged separately by the client. Our Biomedical Engineer services are limited to installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and regulatory compliance as described herein.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Additional Biomedical Engineer hours beyond the quoted duration will be charged at the prevailing daily rate of £1,250.00 per engineer per day, plus applicable VAT.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
- MedTech Solutions Manchester Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw this Quotation Estimate if the client fails to provide safe access to the work area, adequate electrical supply, or necessary permits as reasonably required by our Biomedical Engineer team.
4. Acceptance
By signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate for Biomedical Engineer services as described herein, to be delivered in the United Kingdom Manchester area, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out above.
