This Quotation Estimate is issued by Shanghai Precision Carpentry Co., Ltd. to provide the Client with a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for all Carpenter services required for the residential and commercial interior fit-out project located in China Shanghai. This document serves as a formal, binding proposal for pricing purposes only and does not constitute a purchase order or a contract until countersigned by both parties. All Carpenter labour, materials, and ancillary services described herein are scoped specifically for the project site in China Shanghai and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Section 6 of this Quotation Estimate.
2. Scope of Carpenter WorkThe Carpenter team assigned to this project in China Shanghai will deliver the following services, including but not limited to: custom hardwood cabinetry fabrication and installation, built-in wardrobe systems, floating shelving units, hardwood flooring installation (oak and walnut), door and frame fitting, ceiling cove moulding, and minor structural timber repairs. All Carpenter work will comply with the local building codes of the People's Republic of China and the specific regulations enforced by the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission. The Carpenter crew will operate Monday through Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00, with a mandatory Sunday rest day in accordance with Chinese labour law.

This Quotation Estimate assumes that the project site in China Shanghai is structurally sound and accessible for Carpenter operations. The following are excluded from the pricing above: electrical wiring, plumbing modifications, painting or lacquering of finished woodwork, furniture procurement beyond the items listed, and any work arising from latent structural defects discovered after commencement. Should the Client request additional Carpenter services beyond the scope defined in Section 2, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued at no charge prior to any additional work being performed.
5. Project TimelineSubject to Client approval of this Quotation Estimate, the Carpenter team will mobilise to the China Shanghai site within five (5) business days of the signed purchase order. The estimated duration for full completion of all Carpenter work is six (6) calendar weeks, commencing on the agreed start date. A detailed weekly schedule will be provided by the Senior Carpenter upon project kick-off. Delays caused by force majeure, municipal permit hold-ups in China Shanghai, or Client-requested design changes will extend the timeline proportionally and will be documented in a written variation order.
6. Terms and Conditions- Payment Schedule: 40% advance payment upon signing; 35% upon completion of flooring and cabinetry installation; 25% upon final handover and Client sign-off. All payments shall be made in CNY via bank transfer to the account specified in the purchase order.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision based on fluctuations in raw timber and hardware costs in the China Shanghai market.
- Warranty: All Carpenter workmanship is warranted for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of final acceptance. Material defects in supplied timber or hardware are covered under the respective manufacturer's warranty.
- Insurance and Liability: Shanghai Precision Carpentry Co., Ltd. maintains comprehensive public liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by law in China Shanghai. The Client shall maintain property insurance for the site during the Carpenter work period.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through negotiation, failing which they shall be submitted to the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) in accordance with its rules of procedure.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to treat all pricing, design, and project information contained in this Quotation Estimate as confidential and shall not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.
