The Carpenter team will mobilise on-site in France Paris on 1 July 2025. The estimated duration of the full project is six (6) working weeks, with a projected completion date of 15 August 2025. A detailed weekly schedule will be provided upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Any delays caused by force majeure, client-requested design changes, or municipal permit processing in the 11th arrondissement of Paris will be communicated in writing within 48 hours.

Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% deposit (EUR 9,239.04) due upon signature of this Quotation Estimate; 40% progress payment (EUR 12,318.72) due upon completion of kitchen cabinetry and bookcase installation; and the remaining 30% balance (EUR 9,239.04) due upon final acceptance and sign-off. All payments are to be made by bank transfer to the account details provided on the accompanying invoice. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with French commercial law (Code de commerce, Article L441-10).

5.1 — This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, particularly for French oak and hardwood supplies.

5.2 — All timber used in this project will be sustainably sourced FSC-certified French oak, procured from approved suppliers within the Île-de-France region to minimise transport emissions.

5.3 — The Carpenter firm carries full professional liability insurance (assurance responsabilité civile professionnelle) with a coverage limit of EUR 5,000,000, as well as decennial liability insurance (garantie décennale) for a period of ten (10) years from the date of completion, as required by French law for structural works.

5.4 — The client grants the Carpenter team access to the property in France Paris between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, Monday through Friday. Work outside these hours requires prior written consent and may incur additional charges.

5.5 — Any variations or additional works not included in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed in writing via a supplementary order form before execution. No additional work shall commence without a signed variation order.

5.6 — Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved amicably. Failing amicable resolution, the competent courts of Paris, France shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

5.7 — This document constitutes a binding Quotation Estimate upon countersignature by both parties and does not constitute a final contract until the formal works contract (contrat de travaux) is executed.
