Scope of Work — Carpenter Services in Iraq Baghdad

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Al-Rafidain Carpentry & Woodwork Co. to provide comprehensive Carpenter services for the Al-Karkh Residential Development Group project located in Iraq Baghdad. The Carpenter team assigned to this project will be responsible for all woodwork, joinery, interior finishing, and structural timber work as detailed below. All work will be executed in accordance with Iraqi building codes, local municipal regulations applicable to Baghdad, and international carpentry standards. The Carpenter crew will consist of a lead master Carpenter, four skilled Carpenter assistants, and two apprentices, all of whom hold valid work permits for Iraq Baghdad operations.

Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is specific to the Carpenter services described herein for the project site in Iraq Baghdad. Prices are based on current material costs in the Baghdad market as of June 2025. Any changes in scope, additional Carpenter labor requirements, or modifications to the original design will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued separately. All timber and wood products will be sourced from certified suppliers operating within Iraq to ensure compliance with local import and environmental regulations. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, a revised Quotation Estimate may be required due to fluctuating material costs in the Iraq Baghdad market.
Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of 50% of the Carpenter work, and 30% upon final inspection and handover. All payments shall be made in US Dollars via bank transfer to the account specified by Al-Rafidain Carpentry & Woodwork Co.
The Carpenter team will operate Monday through Saturday, 07:00 to 17:00 local time in Baghdad, Iraq. Sunday is a non-working day in accordance with local labor practices in Iraq Baghdad.
All Carpenter work is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not cover damage caused by misuse, water damage, or unauthorized modifications.
The client is responsible for providing safe access to the work site, ensuring all necessary permits and approvals from the Baghdad Municipal Authority are obtained prior to commencement of Carpenter work.
Any variation or change order must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before additional Carpenter work is commenced. A supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued for any such variations.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance shall be confirmed by signature and stamp on the acknowledgment section below.
All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent Carpenter services agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Baghdad, Iraq, in accordance with Iraqi commercial law.
The Carpenter crew shall comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction work in Iraq Baghdad, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper ventilation when applying finishes and adhesives.

Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Carpenter services in Iraq Baghdad and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this document. The Quotation Estimate shall become a binding agreement upon countersignature by both parties.
