This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd. in response to the client's request for comprehensive residential carpentry and joinery services at the above-mentioned property in Karori, New Zealand Wellington. 1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Carpenter reserves the right to revise pricing due to material cost fluctuations in the New Zealand Wellington market.
2. Payment Schedule: A 30% deposit ($11,692.74) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. A further 40% ($15,590.32) is due upon completion of structural framing (Item 02). The remaining 30% ($11,692.74) is due upon final handover and client sign-off.
3. Commencement: Work will commence within five (5) working days of receipt of the deposit and written confirmation from the client. The Carpenter will coordinate with the client's building consent officer if a consent is required by Wellington City Council.
4. Variations: Any changes to the scope of work requested by the client after commencement will be subject to a written variation order and additional Quotation Estimate from the Carpenter before work proceeds.
5. Warranty: All structural carpentry work is warranted for ten (10) years in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Building Act 2004. Non-structural joinery work carries a two (2) year warranty.
6. Insurance: Wellington Master Carpenter Ltd. holds comprehensive public liability insurance of $20,000,000 and workers' compensation insurance as required by New Zealand law. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
7. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate will be resolved in accordance with the Disputes Tribunal Act 1945 or the Building and Construction Disputes Act 2005, with jurisdiction in New Zealand Wellington.
8. Weather Delays: Given the variable weather conditions typical of New Zealand Wellington, the Carpenter reserves the right to extend the project timeline by up to three (3) working days for weather-related interruptions without penalty to either party.
