This Quotation Estimate is issued by Cape Town Master Carpenter & Joinery Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a registered and fully insured Carpenter operating within the Western Cape province of South Africa. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of all materials, labour, tools, and equipment required for the Carpenter work described. VAT is applied at the current South African rate of 15%.
Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised due to fluctuations in timber material costs in the South African market.
- A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total Quotation Estimate amount, being R 150,144.00, is required prior to the commencement of any Carpenter work on site in Cape Town, South Africa.
- The balance of fifty percent (50%), being R 150,144.00, shall be payable upon successful completion of all Carpenter work and final sign-off by the client.
- All Carpenter work is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of completion, covering defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, structural movement, or misuse.
- The Carpenter contractor shall comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations as prescribed by the South African Department of Employment and Labour. Full public liability insurance of R 5,000,000 is maintained throughout the project duration.
- Any variations or additional Carpenter work not included in this Quotation Estimate must be approved in writing by the client prior to execution. Additional work will be quoted separately at the prevailing Carpenter rates applicable in South Africa Cape Town.
- The estimated project duration of eighteen (18) working days assumes normal weather conditions in Cape Town. Delays caused by adverse weather, municipal by-law inspections, or client-requested changes will extend the timeline accordingly.
- All timber materials sourced for this project will be FSC-certified or equivalent, in line with South African environmental standards and the client's preference for sustainable sourcing.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is signed by both parties. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate by the client constitutes a request to proceed, subject to the terms outlined herein.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent Carpenter work shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Cape Town.
