Note: This Quotation Estimate is based on current timber prices in the Dar es Salaam market as of June 2025. Should raw material costs fluctuate by more than 10% prior to commencement, the Carpenter firm reserves the right to issue a revised Quotation Estimate with updated pricing. All wood species sourced are sustainably harvested and comply with Tanzania's Forestry and Beekeeping Act.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Carpenter firm may adjust pricing to reflect changes in material costs, labour rates, or exchange rates applicable in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
Payment terms: 40% advance deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of fabrication in the workshop, and 20% upon final installation and client sign-off at the project site in Dar es Salaam.
The estimated project duration is six (6) weeks from the date of the advance payment, subject to weather conditions and material availability in the Dar es Salaam supply chain.
All carpentry work is covered by a twelve-month workmanship warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, termites, water ingress, or structural movement of the building.
The Carpenter firm shall obtain all necessary permits and clearances from the Dar es Salaam City Council for any work that affects shared structural elements of the building.
Any changes to the scope of work after this Quotation Estimate has been accepted must be documented in a written variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The client acknowledges that the Carpenter firm is not liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to flooding, power outages, or government-imposed restrictions within Tanzania Dar es Salaam.

By signing below, the client confirms that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in full and that the scope, pricing, and terms are accepted. The Carpenter firm will commence work upon receipt of the advance deposit and a signed copy of this document.
