All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT is charged at the standard rate of 20% as applicable in the United Kingdom. This Quotation Estimate is based on the current scope of work and may be subject to adjustment should additional Carpenter tasks be identified during the project.
Project TimelineBased on the scope outlined above, the estimated project duration is four to five weeks from the agreed start date. Our Carpenter team will mobilise on-site in Birmingham, United Kingdom, and work Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:30. A detailed programme of works will be provided upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The anticipated completion date, assuming a start date of 1 July 2025, is 15 August 2025.
Terms and Conditions1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in material costs or labour rates in the Birmingham, United Kingdom market.
2. A deposit of 30% of the total Quotation Estimate value (£10,283.76) is required to secure the booking and commence procurement of materials. The remaining balance shall be payable in two equal instalments: 50% upon completion of the kitchen and flooring works, and 50% upon final handover and client sign-off.
3. All Carpenter workmanship is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of completion. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised alterations by third parties.
4. The client agrees to provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas of the property where Carpenter works are to be carried out. Any delays caused by the client's failure to provide access will result in a corresponding extension to the project timeline.
5. Any variations or additional works requested by the client beyond the scope of this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written agreement and additional cost. Our Carpenter team will provide a written variation estimate prior to commencing any additional work.
6. Blackwood & Sons Carpentry Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the execution of this Quotation Estimate. Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the contract.
7. This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
8. All materials specified in this Quotation Estimate are of the quality and grade as described. Substitutions of equivalent or superior quality may be made where the specified material is unavailable, provided prior written consent is obtained from the client.
AcceptanceBy signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Blackwood & Sons Carpentry Ltd to proceed with the Carpenter works as described. The signed copy of this document shall serve as the formal contract between both parties.
