Terms & Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is a good-faith estimate of costs and is not a binding contract until both parties sign and the deposit is received. All work is governed by the terms of a separate Construction Agreement to be executed prior to commencement.
- All carpentry work will be performed in compliance with the International Residential Code (IRC) 2021, the Florida Building Code, and all applicable ordinances of the City of Miami, United States. Our Carpenter team will ensure all structural modifications meet or exceed code requirements.
- Payment schedule: 25% upon signing, 40% upon completion of cabinetry and built-in installation, 25% upon completion of wainscoting and flooring work, and 10% upon final walkthrough and punch-list resolution.
- Project timeline: Estimated 6 to 8 weeks from the date of permit approval, subject to weather conditions typical of the Miami, Florida climate and material delivery schedules.
- All materials will be stored on-site in a covered, ventilated area to protect against the high humidity common in the United States Miami region. Any material damage due to force majeure (hurricane, flood, etc.) will be addressed per the Construction Agreement.
- Warranty: Palmetto Custom Carpentry & Woodwork LLC provides a two-year workmanship warranty on all carpentry and installation work. Manufacturer warranties on hardware, hinges, and slides are passed through to the client.
- Change orders: Any modifications to the scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be approved in writing by both parties. Additional labor or materials will be billed at the rates specified herein.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting work shall be resolved through mediation in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States, in accordance with Florida Statute Chapter 672.
