1. Project Overview & Scope of WorkThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Harare Master Carpenter & Woodworks (Pvt) Ltd, a registered and licensed Carpenter operating in Zimbabwe Harare, in response to the client's request for comprehensive carpentry and custom woodwork services. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Carpenter reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuations in timber and material costs within Zimbabwe Harare.
- All prices quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of all materials, labour, tools, and equipment required by the Carpenter to complete the specified work.
- Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 35% upon completion of fabrication in the Carpenter's workshop, and the remaining 25% upon final installation and client sign-off at the Zimbabwe Harare site.
- The estimated project duration is six (6) weeks from the date of the initial deposit, subject to weather conditions and material availability in Zimbabwe Harare.
- The Carpenter guarantees all workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final installation. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, natural wear, or structural movement of the building.
- All timber and wood products used by the Carpenter will be sourced from certified sustainable suppliers in Zimbabwe and will be treated against termites and wood-boring insects in compliance with Zimbabwe's Forestry Commission regulations.
- The client agrees to provide safe access to the work area and to ensure that all necessary building permits and local authority approvals for Zimbabwe Harare are in place prior to commencement of structural work.
- Any additional work or changes to the scope outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before execution. The Carpenter will issue a supplementary Quotation Estimate for any such variations.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and countersigned by both the Carpenter and the client. Upon acceptance, it forms part of the master service agreement between the parties.
