3. Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
General Terms
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on current Tokyo market conditions and labor cost adjustments.
- The Chef assigned to this engagement will be a full-time employee of Kyoto Culinary Partners Ltd. and will operate under the Japanese Labor Standards Act (Rōdō Kijun Hō). All statutory benefits, including health insurance, pension contributions, and workers' compensation, are included in the rates above.
- The Chef's working hours shall be from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday, with one (1) day off per week. Overtime work beyond these hours in Tokyo will be compensated at 1.25 times the standard hourly rate as mandated by Japanese labor regulations.
- Payment terms: 50% of the monthly fee is due on the 1st of each month, and the remaining 50% is due on the 15th. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the designated account of Kyoto Culinary Partners Ltd. at MUFG Bank, Roppongi Branch, Tokyo.
- The client may terminate this Chef engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, a penalty fee equivalent to one month's total service charge shall apply.
- All ingredients and consumables for daily meal preparation are to be procured by the Chef and are billed separately at actual cost, subject to a monthly cap of JPY 150,000. Any expenditure beyond this cap requires prior written approval from the client.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for major kitchen renovations, appliance purchases exceeding JPY 100,000, or travel outside the Tokyo metropolitan area. Such additional services will be quoted separately.
- Confidentiality: The Chef and all staff of Kyoto Culinary Partners Ltd. shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding the client's household matters, recipes, and personal information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Tokyo, Japan, under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
4. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms, rates, and conditions outlined in this Quotation Estimate for Chef services in Japan Tokyo. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature by both parties.
