The Chef to be deployed under this Quotation Estimate is a fully qualified, SASSA-registered culinary professional with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in fine-dining and private residential kitchens. The Chef will operate exclusively within the South Africa Cape Town area and will be available for the engagement period specified below. The Chef holds a National Certificate: Culinary Arts (NQF Level 5) issued by a recognised South African training institution and maintains a valid food handler's certificate compliant with the Western Cape Department of Health regulations.
The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, ingredient sourcing from local Cape Town markets (including the V&A Waterfront Fresh Market and the Oranjezicht City Farm Market), meal preparation, plating, kitchen management, and post-service cleanup. The Chef will accommodate dietary requirements, allergen management, and special occasion catering as specified by the client.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates for the Chef engagement in South Africa Cape Town are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the Chef's availability. The remaining 50% is payable within seven (7) business days of the completion of the engagement period.
- The Chef will operate between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, Monday through Saturday. Sunday availability is subject to a 25% premium surcharge and must be confirmed in writing at least 48 hours in advance.
- All ingredient costs listed in this Quotation Estimate are estimates based on current South Africa Cape Town market prices. Should ingredient costs fluctuate by more than 10%, a revised Quotation Estimate will be issued for the client's approval before additional expenditure is incurred.
- The Chef is an independent contractor of Cape Town Culinary Services (Pty) Ltd and is not an employee of the client. The client is not responsible for the Chef's PAYE, UIF, or any statutory deductions.
- Cancellation policy: Cancellations made more than 14 days before the engagement date will incur a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations within 14 days will result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours of the engagement date will incur a 75% penalty on the total Quotation Estimate value.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court in Cape Town, Western Cape.
- The Chef will comply with all food safety standards as set by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) and the Western Cape Department of Health.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate in its entirety, including all terms and conditions relating to the engagement of the Chef in South Africa Cape Town. The client confirms that the total amount of R 204,240.00 (inclusive of VAT) is agreed upon and that payment will be made in accordance with the terms outlined in Section 4 above.
