4. Scope of Chef Services – South Africa Johannesburg
The Chef team engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the full end-to-end culinary operation at the client's designated site in South Africa Johannesburg. This includes, but is not limited to: daily menu rotation (minimum 15 distinct dishes per week), preparation of all three meals for up to 60 guests, adherence to South African food safety legislation, coordination with local Johannesburg suppliers for fresh produce and specialty ingredients, and provision of dietary-specific meals upon 48-hour notice. The Executive Chef will conduct a pre-service walkthrough of the kitchen facility in Johannesburg, South Africa, no later than 48 hours before the commencement date to confirm equipment readiness and layout compliance.
5. Terms & Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing for the Chef services in South Africa Johannesburg may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in ingredient costs and labour rates.
- Payment terms: 50% deposit due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 50% balance payable within seven (7) business days of service completion in Johannesburg, South Africa.
- The Chef team shall comply with all applicable South African labour laws, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and all Johannesburg municipal by-laws pertaining to food preparation and service.
- Any additional services, extended hours, or changes in guest numbers exceeding 60 persons per meal in South Africa Johannesburg will be quoted separately as a supplementary amendment to this Quotation Estimate.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to load-shedding disruptions in Johannesburg, South Africa, that materially affect service delivery, will be addressed through mutual consultation and may result in a revised schedule without penalty to either party.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until countersigned by both parties. Upon signature, it becomes a binding service agreement governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- All intellectual property related to proprietary recipes and menu designs developed by the Chef team during the South Africa Johannesburg engagement shall remain the property of Golden Fork Culinary Services (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.
