The Chef, a professionally certified culinary specialist with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in Mediterranean, Catalan, and international cuisine, will be stationed at the client's private residence located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, Spain.
The Chef will be responsible for the complete planning, procurement coordination, preparation, and presentation of all meals for a household of four (4) persons, including two adults and two children aged eight and eleven. The service encompasses breakfast, lunch, and dinner on weekdays (Monday through Friday), with an optional weekend service available at an additional rate as detailed in Section 3 below. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and the total amount are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Spain Barcelona.
- Payment shall be made in monthly instalments of EUR 34,267.00, due on the first business day of each month (July, August, and September 2025), via direct bank transfer to the account of Cuina Privada Barcelona S.L. No payment shall be due for the final partial month.
- A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total Quotation Estimate amount (EUR 15,420.15) is required to confirm the Chef engagement and secure the service dates in Spain Barcelona.
- The Chef's working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 CET, with a one-hour unpaid meal break. Weekend service, if activated, runs 10:00 to 16:00 CET. Overtime beyond these hours will be billed at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate.
- All ingredients and consumables are included in the procurement cost (Item 4). Alcohol, premium wines, and specialty imports exceeding EUR 50 per unit are to be provided by the client at their own expense.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have signed and returned a copy. The final service agreement will be governed by the Civil Code of Spain and the applicable labour regulations of the Comunitat Autònoma de Catalunya.
- Either party may terminate the Chef engagement with a written notice of fourteen (14) calendar days. In the event of early termination by the client, a cancellation fee of 20% of the remaining contract value will apply.
- The Chef is an independent contractor of Cuina Privada Barcelona S.L. and is not an employee of the client. All social security contributions, professional indemnity insurance, and occupational accident coverage are the responsibility of the service provider under Spanish labour law.
