The Chemical Engineer will commence work on 1 July 2025, subject to written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The total project duration is estimated at 52 working days, with a projected completion date of 26 August 2025. All site work will be conducted at the client's premises in Australia Brisbane, and the engineer will adhere to the site's health and safety management plan in accordance with the Queensland Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
Payment shall be made in three instalments as follows: 30% upon execution of the contract and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of the design and modelling phase (Item 1.2 and 1.3); and 30% upon final handover and commissioning (Item 1.6). All payments are due within 14 calendar days of invoice date. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Queensland Interest on Late Payments of Government Debts Act 2006.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and conditions are subject to review and renegotiation.
- The Chemical Engineer holds a valid Practising Engineer (PE) registration with Engineers Australia and is a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). All professional work will be stamped and certified in accordance with Australian engineering practice.
- All services will be performed in strict compliance with the Australian Standards (AS/NZS) series, including AS 1288 (Pressure Vessels), AS 3780 (Pressure Equipment), and AS 3000 (Electrical Installations) where applicable.
- The client agrees to provide safe access to all relevant areas of the Australia Brisbane facility, including process control rooms, chemical storage areas, and wastewater treatment infrastructure, during the engagement period.
- Any variation to the scope of work beyond 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value will require a written variation order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- Intellectual property, including all process designs, calculations, and reports produced under this engagement, shall remain the property of the client upon full payment. The Chemical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with the client's written consent.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) procedures or, where the amount exceeds the QCAT jurisdictional limit, in the Supreme Court of Queensland, Brisbane.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Services Agreement is executed by both parties.
