This Quotation Estimate is issued by BelgoChem Engineering Solutions S.A. to PharmaNova Industries N.V. for the provision of specialized Chemical Engineer consultancy and process design services to be executed within the Belgium Brussels metropolitan region. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of a new pharmaceutical process unit, from initial feasibility assessment through to commissioning support, in strict compliance with Belgian and European regulatory frameworks.
Our senior Chemical Engineer team, comprising licensed professionals registered with the Belgian Order of Engineers and Architects (Ordre des Ingénieurs-Conseils), will deliver the following services at the designated facility in Belgium Brussels:
- Process flow diagram (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) development for a 500 L continuous stirred-tank reactor system.
- Thermal and mass balance calculations, including energy recovery optimization for the solvent recovery column.
- Material selection and corrosion assessment compliant with EU REACH regulations and Belgian chemical safety directives.
- Process safety analysis (HAZOP) and risk assessment in accordance with the Seveso III Directive as transposed into Belgian law.
- Control system architecture design and integration specifications for the DCS/PLC environment.
- Commissioning support, performance testing, and operator training delivery on-site in Belgium Brussels.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three instalments: 30% upon contract signature, 40% upon completion of detailed design deliverables (Items 01–05), and 30% upon successful commissioning and handover. All payments are due within 30 calendar days of invoice date. Invoices will be issued in EUR and are payable by bank transfer to the account of BelgoChem Engineering Solutions S.A. at BNP Paribas Fortis, Brussels, Belgium (IBAN: BE68 5230 1234 5678).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates and availability of the Chemical Engineer team are subject to revision.
- All work shall be performed in accordance with Belgian law, the European Union directives applicable to chemical and pharmaceutical process industries, and the specific regulations of the Brussels-Capital Region.
- The Chemical Engineer personnel assigned to this project shall hold valid professional registration and carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 5,000,000.
- Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties. Additional work will be billed at the rates specified in this Quotation Estimate or at mutually agreed rates.
- Intellectual property in all design documents, calculations, and reports produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment.
- Confidentiality obligations shall survive termination of the contract for a period of five (5) years.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-mandated shutdowns in Belgium Brussels, shall suspend performance obligations without penalty to either party.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes BelgoChem Engineering Solutions S.A. to proceed with the engagement of the Chemical Engineer team for the services described herein, to be delivered at the project site in Belgium Brussels.
