The Chemical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services to the client's operations in China Shanghai:

• Design and specification of a new heat-exchange network to reduce energy consumption by a minimum of 12 percent, in compliance with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment regulations applicable to China Shanghai.
• Preparation of a full Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study for the proposed modifications, ensuring alignment with GB/T 30871-2022 and the Shanghai Municipal Emergency Management Bureau guidelines.
• Development of a detailed Chemical Process Safety Management (PSM) plan tailored to the operational context of China Shanghai, including emergency response protocols and environmental impact mitigation strategies.
• On-site supervision and technical oversight during the 90-day implementation phase, with a minimum of five (5) working days per week present at the China Shanghai plant site.
• Preparation of a final technical report, including P&ID revisions, equipment data sheets, and a 10-year predictive maintenance schedule.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect market conditions in China Shanghai.
2. The Chemical Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a valid PRC Registered Chemical Engineer certificate and a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant process engineering experience in petrochemical or fine-chemicals operations.
3. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the PRC Work Safety Law, the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Regulations, and applicable national standards (GB) in force in China Shanghai at the time of execution.
4. The client shall provide safe access to the plant site, all necessary process data, historical operating records, and a dedicated project liaison within China Shanghai to facilitate the Chemical Engineer's work.
5. Intellectual property in all reports, designs, and documentation produced under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Chemical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with client written consent.
6. Any change in scope beyond the parameters defined herein shall be subject to a written change order and a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by our office prior to commencement of additional work.
7. Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration under the Shanghai Arbitration Commission (SHAC) in accordance with its then-current rules.
8. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and the advance payment has been received in full.
