This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Chemical Engineer, registered with the Order of Engineers of Rome (Ordine degli Ingegneri di Roma), to provide comprehensive professional services in the field of chemical engineering for the client's manufacturing facility located in the industrial district of Rome, Italy. The scope encompasses process design review, safety compliance assessment in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. 81/2008, and optimization of existing chemical production lines. 1. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within 30 days of invoice issuance via bank transfer to the account of the Chemical Engineer as specified on the invoice. A 30% advance payment is required upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to commence the engagement. The remaining balance shall be invoiced in two equal installments: 50% upon completion of the on-site audit and safety report, and 50% upon final delivery of all documentation and completion of the training session.
2. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, the Chemical Engineer reserves the right to revise the rates based on current market conditions in Rome and the Lazio region.
3. Professional Liability: The Chemical Engineer shall carry professional liability insurance (RC Professionale) with a minimum coverage of €1,000,000 per claim, as required by the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Roma. A certificate of insurance shall be provided upon request.
4. Intellectual Property: All reports, calculations, process designs, and technical documentation produced under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Chemical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with the client's written consent.
5. Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Rome (Tribunale di Roma).
6. Confidentiality: The Chemical Engineer undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, trade secrets, and process data disclosed by the client during the course of this engagement, in accordance with Italian data protection regulations (GDPR and D.Lgs. 196/2003).
IMPORTANT NOTES:- All rates are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of the Chemical Engineer's professional fees but exclusive of third-party laboratory testing costs, which will be billed at actual cost with prior written approval.
- Any additional services beyond the scope defined in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional fee.
- The Chemical Engineer is registered with the INPS (Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale) under the professional category of Ingegnere — Sezione A, and all applicable social security contributions are included in the quoted rates.
- Work shall be performed in accordance with the Italian Code of Ethics for Engineers (Codice Deontologico degli Ingegneri) and the professional standards set by the Ordine degli Ingegneri di Roma.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Chemical Engineering services in Rome, Italy, and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein. This document does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
