The Chemical Engineer team assigned to this project in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur shall complete all deliverables within a period of 16 weeks from the date of contract execution. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Key milestones include: Process Design Completion (Week 4), HAZOP & Safety Review (Week 8), Detailed Engineering & P&ID Finalization (Week 12), and Commissioning Support (Weeks 13–16).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
- Payment terms: 30% advance upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of detailed design phase, and 30% upon final handover and acceptance of all deliverables.
- All Chemical Engineer personnel assigned to this project shall hold valid professional registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant petrochemical process experience.
- The client shall provide all necessary site access, existing plant data, and regulatory approvals required for the Chemical Engineer team to execute the scope within the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur operational area.
- Any variation or change order beyond the defined scope shall be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate and mutual written agreement prior to commencement of additional work.
- All intellectual property, process designs, and proprietary methodologies developed by the Chemical Engineer team shall remain the property of Meridian Process Engineering Sdn. Bhd. unless otherwise stated in the master services agreement.
- This engagement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Kuala Lumpur in accordance with the rules of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
- The Chemical Engineer services shall comply with all applicable Malaysian regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), the Environmental Quality Act 1974, and the Factories and Industrial Buildings Act 1969.
