This Quotation Estimate is based on the following assumptions: the project site is accessible within the New Zealand Wellington urban boundary; the client will provide all existing plant drawings, operating data, and historical process records prior to the commencement of the Chemical Engineer's on-site work; and no scope changes exceeding 10% of the original hours will be required without a formal variation order. Excluded from this Quotation Estimate are: civil and structural engineering works, electrical and instrumentation design, long-lead procurement of equipment, and any statutory fees payable directly to the Wellington Regional Council or the Ministry for the Environment.
Payment against this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three instalments: 30% upon acceptance and signing of the engagement contract; 40% upon completion of the process design and HAZOP deliverables; and the remaining 30% upon final commissioning sign-off and delivery of the complete technical report package. All invoices are payable within 20 business days of issue. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Commerce Act 1986.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After expiry, rates may be revised to reflect current market conditions for Chemical Engineer services in New Zealand Wellington.
- All work performed by our Chemical Engineer will comply with the New Zealand Code of Practice for Chemical Process Safety and the requirements of the Resource Management Act 1991 as administered by the Wellington Regional Council.
- The Chemical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate holds a Professional Engineering (PE) registration with Engineering New Zealand and carries professional indemnity insurance of no less than NZD $10,000,000.
- Intellectual property in all design documents, calculations, and reports produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment of the Quotation Estimate total.
- Confidentiality obligations as set out in the separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will apply to all data exchanged between the parties.
- Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the New Zealand Disputes Tribunal Act 2012, with jurisdiction in the Wellington District Court.
