This Quotation Estimate is issued by Atlantic Chemical Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd to provide comprehensive Chemical Engineer professional services for the design, optimisation, and commissioning of a new solvent recovery and distillation unit at the client's facility in Milnerton, South Africa Cape Town. The scope encompasses all engineering disciplines related to process design, equipment specification, safety compliance, and environmental impact assessment as required by the Western Cape Department of Environmental Affairs and the South African National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS).
The Chemical Engineer team assigned to this project will operate in full compliance with the South African National Standards (SANS), the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993), and all applicable municipal by-laws governing industrial operations in the Cape Town metropolitan area. All deliverables will be submitted in accordance with the project schedule agreed upon in the Statement of Work annexed to this Quotation Estimate.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in material costs, exchange rate movements, or changes in applicable South African legislation.
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of all professional fees, software licensing, and standard engineering deliverables. Any additional scope not explicitly listed herein will be subject to a separate variation order and supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement; 30% upon completion of detailed design and HAZOP study; 30% upon successful commissioning and handover at the Cape Town, South Africa site.
- The Chemical Engineer services described in this document are to be performed in strict accordance with the Engineering Profession Act (Act 34 of 1974) of South Africa and the code of conduct of the South African Council for the Chemical, Metallurgical and Mining Engineering Professions (SACCPM).
- All intellectual property, design documents, and process know-how generated under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full and final payment, subject to the service provider's right to use generic methodologies and standard design templates.
- The service provider shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5 000 000 and public liability insurance of no less than R 10 000 000 for the duration of the project in South Africa Cape Town.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be resolved in terms of the Arbitration Act (Act 27 of 1965) of South Africa, with the seat of arbitration in Cape Town, Western Cape.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement has been executed by both parties. Acceptance of this document by the client shall be deemed an expression of interest only.
