Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three instalments: 40% upon contract signature, 40% upon delivery of the mid-project milestone reports, and 20% upon final acceptance of all Chemical Engineer deliverables. Payments are to be made via bank transfer to the account specified in the contract annex. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by Spanish law (Ley 3/2004 de lucha contra la morosidad en las operaciones comerciales).
Important Terms & Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be revised to reflect current market conditions in Spain Madrid.
- All Chemical Engineer services described herein are subject to the availability of the assigned professional. In the event of unavailability, an equivalent-qualified Chemical Engineer will be substituted with prior written consent of the client.
- Travel expenses within the Spain Madrid metropolitan area (up to 50 km radius from the city centre) are included. Travel beyond this radius will be billed at cost plus 10% administrative surcharge.
- The Quotation Estimate does not include third-party laboratory testing, permit application fees payable to the Comunidad de Madrid, or any costs arising from scope changes requested by the client after contract execution.
- All intellectual property in the deliverables (process designs, reports, P&IDs) shall transfer to the client upon full payment. The Chemical Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with client consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain, in accordance with Spanish civil and commercial law.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Any reference to EU regulations is made insofar as they have been transposed into Spanish national law.
