The total Quotation Estimate amount of BDT 2,158,800 shall be disbursed in the following milestones, subject to satisfactory completion of each phase by the Civil Engineer team:
- Advance (20%): BDT 431,760 – upon signing of the service agreement and receipt of this Quotation Estimate acceptance.
- Design Completion (25%): BDT 539,700 – upon delivery and approval of all architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Permit Approval (10%): BDT 215,880 – upon successful issuance of the DNCC building permit for the Bangladesh Dhaka site.
- Construction Supervision (35%): BDT 755,580 – payable in 14 equal monthly installments of BDT 53,970 during the active construction phase.
- Final Handover (10%): BDT 215,880 – upon submission of as-built drawings, compliance certificate, and final site inspection.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, rates may be revised due to market fluctuations in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- All services shall be rendered by a licensed and registered Civil Engineer holding a valid license from the Bangladesh Council of Architects (BCA) and the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
- The project shall strictly comply with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2020), DNCC by-laws, and all applicable environmental regulations of the Dhaka Metropolitan area.
- Any variation or change order beyond the original scope must be approved in writing by both parties before execution. Additional costs will be itemized in a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
- The Civil Engineer shall provide weekly progress reports and monthly site meeting minutes to the client throughout the project duration.
- Payment delays exceeding fifteen (15) days shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of construction materials, labor, or third-party statutory fees (e.g., utility connection charges, road tax) payable directly to relevant Bangladesh Dhaka authorities.
- Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2001 of Bangladesh.
- The Civil Engineer team shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than BDT 5,000,000 for the duration of the project.
