This Quotation Estimate is issued by KCEIC to provide comprehensive Civil Engineer consultancy and project management services for the construction of a reinforced concrete bridge structure spanning the River Ndjili in the Commune de Kintambo, DR Congo Kinshasa. The scope encompasses all phases from preliminary site investigation through to final handover, in full compliance with the Congolese National Building Code (Code des Constructions du Congo) and the standards set forth by the Ministry of Public Works of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The designated Civil Engineer of record, Ing. Jean-Claude Kalala (MSc Civil Engineering, University of Kinshasa; 18 years of professional experience in structural and geotechnical engineering within the DR Congo Kinshasa region), shall supervise all technical deliverables. All engineering calculations, structural designs, and construction oversight will be conducted in accordance with the regulatory framework governing infrastructure projects in DR Congo Kinshasa.

This Quotation Estimate shall be settled according to the following milestone-based payment schedule, subject to satisfactory acceptance of deliverables by the client's project management team in DR Congo Kinshasa:

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, KCEIC reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuations in the USD/CDF exchange rate applicable in DR Congo Kinshasa.
All payments shall be made in United States Dollars (USD) via bank transfer to the account of KCEIC at the Banque Africaine de Développement, Kinshasa branch, DR Congo.
The Civil Engineer of record shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 500,000, valid throughout the project duration in DR Congo Kinshasa.
Any variation in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the total Quotation Estimate value shall require a written amendment signed by both parties before execution.
KCEIC shall comply with all labour laws, safety regulations, and environmental directives of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly those applicable to infrastructure projects in the Kinshasa urban zone.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration under the rules of the Centre for Arbitration and Mediation of the OHADA (Organisation pour l'Harmonisation en Afrique du Droit des Affaires), with the seat of arbitration in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
Intellectual property rights over all engineering designs, calculations, and reports produced by the Civil Engineer team shall vest in the client upon full payment of the Quotation Estimate total.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to civil unrest, flooding of the Congo River basin, or government-imposed restrictions in DR Congo Kinshasa, shall entitle either party to a reasonable extension of time without penalty.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Civil Engineer services to be delivered in DR Congo Kinshasa, and authorises KCEIC to proceed with the scope of work as described herein.
