1. Introduction and Scope of Work

3. Payment Schedule

Payment against this Quotation Estimate shall be made in the following installments, all denominated in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and payable via bank transfer to the account of Abay Civil Engineering & Consulting PLC at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa branch:

30% upon signing of the service agreement and receipt of the approved Quotation Estimate (ETB 1,164,375).
25% upon completion and approval of all design drawings and structural analysis (ETB 970,313).
35% in equal monthly installments during the construction supervision phase (ETB 1,358,438).
10% upon final handover, submission of as-built documents, and issuance of the completion certificate (ETB 388,124).

4. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all prices are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
All Civil Engineer services shall be performed by qualified, licensed professionals registered with the Ethiopian Engineers Association and the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure Development.
The client shall provide timely access to the project site in Ethiopia Addis Ababa and furnish all necessary permits, land title documentation, and prior approvals required for the Civil Engineer team to commence work.
Any change in scope, additional design iterations beyond three (3) revisions, or extension of the supervision period beyond twelve (12) months shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued separately.
All intellectual property rights in the design documents, structural calculations, and engineering reports produced under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the client upon full payment.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to the Addis Ababa City Arbitration Panel in accordance with Ethiopian commercial law.
The Civil Engineer firm shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of ETB 10,000,000 for the duration of the project.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, shall suspend obligations without penalty to either party.

5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for Civil Engineer services in Ethiopia Addis Ababa. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature and receipt of the initial payment installment.
