1. Scope of Civil Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by the undersigned Civil Engineer to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the professional structural engineering services required for the above-referenced project in France Lyon. 3. Payment Terms and Conditions
Payment against this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three instalments: thirty percent (30%) upon signature of the professional services contract; forty-five percent (45%) upon delivery and approval of the complete design package; and twenty-five percent (25%) upon completion of the final as-built report and handover to the France Lyon municipal works department. All payments shall be made by bank transfer to the Civil Engineer’s designated account at Crédit Agricole du Rhône, Lyon. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code.
4. Assumptions and Exclusions
Important Notes regarding this Quotation Estimate:
- This Quotation Estimate assumes full access to the bridge structure and adjacent France Lyon roadways during the agreed inspection and supervision windows. Any access restrictions imposed by Lyon traffic management authorities may result in additional mobilisation costs, to be invoiced separately.
- The Civil Engineer’s fees do not include the cost of materials, subcontracted laboratory testing, or third-party geotechnical investigations, which are to be procured separately by the client.
- All structural calculations and design documents produced under this engagement shall be the intellectual property of the Civil Engineer until full payment is received, in accordance with French Intellectual Property Code (Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle), Articles L.111-1 et seq.
- This Quotation Estimate is subject to the professional liability insurance of the Civil Engineer (RC Pro, minimum coverage €5,000,000) and does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties.
- Any variation in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the total Quotation Estimate value shall require a formal amendment agreement signed by both the Civil Engineer and the client representative in Lyon.
5. Acceptance and Authorisation
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorises the Civil Engineer to proceed with the services described herein for the project located in France Lyon. This document, once countersigned, shall form the basis of the professional services contract governed by French law and the jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Lyon.
