2. Project Description
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Frankfurt Engineering Solutions GmbH in response to the formal request for a comprehensive structural assessment and remediation plan for the historic pedestrian underpass located beneath the Main River crossing in the Innenstadt district of Germany Frankfurt. The scope encompasses a full Civil Engineer evaluation of the existing reinforced concrete structure, including load-bearing capacity analysis, corrosion mapping of embedded steel reinforcement, and the development of a detailed rehabilitation strategy compliant with DIN 1045, Eurocode 2 (EN 1992), and the local Hessian building regulations (HBO).
The Civil Engineer team assigned to this project will conduct on-site inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and laboratory analysis of concrete core samples. All findings will be compiled into a technical report suitable for submission to the Frankfurt municipal planning authority (Amt für Stadtplanung) and the Hessian State Building Supervisory Office (Landesbauaufsichtsamt Hessen).

4. Payment Schedule
This Quotation Estimate assumes the following payment milestones, aligned with standard German construction industry practice (VOB/B):

5. Terms and Conditions
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
5.2 All prices are quoted in Euro (EUR) and are inclusive of the applicable German value-added tax (Umsatzsteuer) at the current rate of 19%, unless otherwise stated.
5.3 The Civil Engineer services described herein shall be performed in accordance with the German Building Code (BauGB), the Hessian Building Code (HBO), and all applicable DIN and Eurocode standards. The Lead Civil Engineer holds a valid professional registration (Bauingenieur) with the Hessian Chamber of Engineers (Ingenieurkammer Hessen).
5.4 The project timeline is estimated at twelve (12) working weeks from the date of contract execution, subject to weather conditions and access availability at the site in Germany Frankfurt.
5.5 Any additional work beyond the scope defined in Section 3 shall be subject to a separate written amendment to this Quotation Estimate and requires mutual written agreement before execution.
5.6 Payment terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory rate pursuant to § 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
5.7 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance shall be effected by signature and return of the attached acceptance form.
5.8 Governing law is the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be Frankfurt am Main.
