This Quotation Estimate is issued by our firm to formally present the professional fees and associated costs for the services of a licensed Civil Engineer to be rendered in connection with the design, supervision, and technical oversight of the above-referenced construction project located in Mexico, Mexico City. The total amount stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be paid according to the following schedule, tied to project milestones verified by the Civil Engineer:
- 30% Advance Payment: Upon signing of the professional services contract and issuance of the first invoice, payable within 10 business days.
- 40% Progress Payments: Distributed monthly based on the percentage of structural work completed and verified by the Civil Engineer's site inspection reports.
- 20% Final Payment: Upon completion of all structural works, submission of as-built documentation, and issuance of the final Dictamen Estructural.
- 10% Retention: Released 90 days after the Certificate of Occupancy is granted by the relevant authority in Mexico, Mexico City, provided no structural deficiencies are identified.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be adjusted to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or regulatory requirements in Mexico, Mexico City.
- All prices are quoted in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and include the applicable 16% IVA (Impuesto al Valor Agregado) as mandated by the Mexican Federal Tax Administration (SAT).
- The Civil Engineer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of MXN 10,000,000 for the duration of the project.
- The client is responsible for obtaining all construction permits, paying municipal fees, and ensuring site access. The Civil Engineer's role is limited to technical design, supervision, and regulatory documentation.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a written amendment and additional fee, to be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
- All intellectual property rights in the structural designs, calculations, and engineering documents produced by the Civil Engineer shall remain with the engineering firm unless a separate assignment agreement is executed.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Mexico, Mexico City, in accordance with the rules of the Centro de Arbitraje de la CDMX.
- The Civil Engineer reserves the right to suspend services if payment is delayed by more than fifteen (15) business days beyond the due date specified in the payment schedule.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the Civil Engineer services to be performed on the project located in Mexico, Mexico City.
