3. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised due to market fluctuations in Nepal Kathmandu construction material costs.
- Payment shall be made in four equal installments: 25% upon signing of the service agreement, 25% upon submission of preliminary design, 25% upon completion of detailed design and approval, and 25% upon project completion and handover.
- All services rendered under this Quotation Estimate shall be performed by a qualified Civil Engineer registered with the Nepal Engineering Council (NEC) and holding a valid professional license for practice in Nepal.
- The client shall provide timely access to the project site in Nepal Kathmandu and furnish all necessary site data, ownership documents, and prior approvals required for the Civil Engineer to proceed with design and supervision activities.
- Any additional scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost estimate.
- The Civil Engineer firm shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than NPR 5,000,000 for the duration of the project.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Nepal, 2055 (1998).
- All intellectual property rights in the design documents, structural calculations, and engineering reports produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of construction materials, labor, or third-party testing laboratory fees, which shall be borne separately by the client.
