This Quotation Estimate is issued by Wellington Civil Engineering Ltd in response to the request for Civil Engineer professional services for the Te Aro Precinct Infrastructure Upgrade Project, located in the central business district of New Zealand Wellington. The scope encompasses geotechnical assessment, structural design of retaining walls, stormwater drainage redesign, and road pavement rehabilitation across a 2.4-kilometre corridor along Cuba Street and its intersecting side streets.
As the appointed Civil Engineer, our firm will deliver all design documentation in compliance with the New Zealand Geotechnical Standards (NZGS), the Wellington City Council Development Code, and the Building Act 2004. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and pricing are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in New Zealand Wellington.
- All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include all professional fees, travel within the Wellington metropolitan area, and standard engineering software licences. Travel to sites outside the Wellington City Council boundary will be charged at an additional rate of NZD 2.50 per kilometre.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this quotation, 40% upon completion of design documentation and Council approval, and 30% upon project close-out and handover of as-built records.
- The Civil Engineer services described herein are subject to the standard terms of the New Zealand Institute of Civil Engineers (NZICE) Code of Professional Conduct and the applicable provisions of the Building Act 2004.
- Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement. Variations exceeding 10% of the total contract value will require a revised Quotation Estimate.
- Intellectual property: All design drawings, calculations, and reports prepared by Wellington Civil Engineering Ltd remain the property of the firm until full payment has been received. Upon payment, the client receives a non-exclusive licence to use the documentation for the specific project in New Zealand Wellington.
- Insurance: The firm maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance of NZD 10,000,000 per claim and Public Liability Insurance of NZD 20,000,000, both compliant with Wellington City Council procurement requirements.
- This quotation does not constitute a contract until a formal agreement is executed by both parties. Acceptance may be indicated by signing and returning the copy of this document or by written confirmation to the email address provided above.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved in accordance with the Disputes and Fair Dealing Act 1991 and, where applicable, the jurisdiction of the District Court at Wellington, New Zealand.
