- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Thereafter, all rates and the total amount may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in South Africa.
- All services described herein shall be performed by a registered and professional Civil Engineer in good standing with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and the Institution of Civil Engineers of South Africa (ICEA).
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of design and municipal plan approval, and 30% upon final handover of as-built documentation.
- All work shall be carried out in strict compliance with the National Building Regulations and Building Standards Act (Act 103 of 1977) as applicable in the City of Johannesburg, South Africa.
- The Civil Engineer shall provide a professional indemnity insurance certificate with a minimum cover of R5 000 000,00 for the duration of the project.
- Any variations or additional scope of work beyond the items listed in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and additional Quotation Estimate prior to commencement.
- All travel and accommodation costs within the Johannesburg metropolitan area are included. Travel to sites outside the CoJ boundary will be billed at cost.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and countersigned by both parties. The formal service agreement will be issued upon acceptance.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent services shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Johannesburg, South Africa.
