SCOPE OF SERVICES – CIVIL ENGINEER CONSULTANCY IN SPAIN MADRIDThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Iberia Civil Engineering S.L. to provide a comprehensive breakdown of professional services rendered by a licensed Civil Engineer for the structural assessment, design, and supervisory oversight of the renovation project located in Spain Madrid. The Civil Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a valid professional registration with the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de Madrid and shall comply with all applicable regulations set forth by the Spanish Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, as well as the local building codes of the Comunidad de Madrid.
The services outlined in this Quotation Estimate encompass the full lifecycle of structural consultancy required for the project, from initial site inspection in Spain Madrid through to final sign-off documentation. - This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Civil Engineer may be subject to revision.
- All prices quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in Euros (EUR) and include the applicable Spanish Value Added Tax (IVA) at the standard rate of 21%, unless otherwise stated.
- The Civil Engineer services described herein are subject to the professional regulations of the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de Madrid and the general professional code of Spain.
- Any variation in scope exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a written amendment signed by both parties before additional work commences.
- The client shall provide the Civil Engineer with timely access to the project site in Spain Madrid, all existing as-built drawings, geotechnical reports, and any other documentation reasonably required for the performance of the services.
- Delays in access, information provision, or decision-making by the client that result in additional time or cost to the Civil Engineer shall be billed at the hourly rate of €95.00 per hour (plus applicable VAT).
- Intellectual property of all design documents, reports, and drawings produced under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Civil Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with prior written consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Spain, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by the client and countersigned by Iberia Civil Engineering S.L.
- The Civil Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance throughout the duration of the engagement, with a minimum coverage of €1,000,000 per claim.
