3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Civil Engineer fees may be revised to reflect changes in market conditions, material indices, or regulatory updates within Sri Lanka Colombo.
3.2 Payment shall be made in monthly instalments aligned with the project milestones. A 25% advance payment is required upon execution of the professional services agreement to mobilise the Civil Engineer team and commence site investigation activities.
3.3 The Civil Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance coverage of not less than LKR 20,000,000, as mandated by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka, for all projects within the Colombo district.
3.4 Any variation in scope beyond the originally agreed deliverables will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by the consulting firm, requiring written client approval before additional work commences.
3.5 All structural calculations, drawings, and reports produced under this engagement shall remain the intellectual property of the client upon full payment of the fees outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
3.6 The Civil Engineer reserves the right to withhold certification or sign-off on any construction phase if workmanship does not conform to the approved design or applicable Sri Lankan building standards.
Note: This Quotation Estimate does not include third-party costs such as soil laboratory testing fees, geotechnical borehole drilling charges, or Colombo Municipal Council permit application fees. These will be billed at actual cost with prior written consent from the client.
